On Friday, April 13^th at the Prime Ministers’ Office the press conference devoted to the Baltic Regional Energy Forum was held. In this event were taking part H.E. Mr Aigars Kalvitis, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, H.E. Mrs Catherine Todd Bailey, the United States Ambassador to Latvia and Mr Ojars Kehris, the President of Economists Association 2010, representative of the Baltic Economic Forum.

“I would like to underline that for a very long period of time there were no so large international conferences and forums devoted to energy in Latvia…  I hope that Baltic Regional Energy Forum will be a reference point and the beginning at the same time for the energy questions discussions in the local and the Baltic Regional level”.
